It is a financial scandal that shocked the world one year ago this month, and one year later its secrets are still being revealed. Authorities say flamboyant Texas billionaire Sir Allen Stanford bilked investors out of billions of dollars in order to fund his lavish lifestyle.
The alleged scheme collapsed on February 17, 2009 when federal authorities raided Stanford's office, claiming billions of dollars in customer funds were missing.
