A&E Network Presents "INTERVENTION IN-DEPTH: POT CITY, USA" Narrated By Meredith Vieira Premiering Monday, October 19th

Humboldt County in northern California may look like it's been plucked right out of a Norman Rockwell painting, but this place is no paradise. The small town of Arcata, CA has a dirty little secret; law enforcement officials estimate that over 1,000 homes are illegally growing marijuana. A&E takes a powerful look into a drug epidemic plaguing a close-knit community with "Intervention In-Depth: Pot City, USA" premiering Monday, October 19th at 9PM ET/PT.

Narrated by Meredith Vieira, this one-hour special follows Police Captain Mark Chapman and the Humboldt County Drug Task Force on their mission to take back the town, house by house. Our cameras follow as they make busts and fly over forestlands searching for hidden marijuana groves and we'll investigate the widespread and destructive effects of an illegal business on the rise.
