A&E's Real-Life Series "PARKING WARS" Returns For An All New Season Tuesday, October 6

Sep 25, 2009 - 2:08:55 PM

Season Three Set In Philadelphia And Detroit

A&E's hit real-life series "Parking Wars" returns for a third season on Tuesday, October 6 at 10pm ET/PT with back-to-back premiere episodes. The series, which for the past two seasons has followed the men and women on the front lines of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, expands beyond the City of Brotherly Love to hit the road in a new town where cars mean everything -- Motor City.

It's wild drama, surprising characters, hilarious confrontations and even more unpredictable battles in the new season of "Parking Wars."

Officers from the Philadelphia Parking Authority return for more outrageous encounters with citizens who have been ticketed, booted or towed. Young Mike is hit with more insults than flirtations; Brian doles out cranky comedic comments along with tickets; glamorous Marlene is now affectionately know as "hairspray" on the beat; and former "meter-maid" Jeff is now a supervisor leading his own team of wide-eyed rookies through the streets of Philadelphia. At the impound lot, supervisor Yolanda battles with over-the-top owners who furiously demand their cars - even when they are not registered or insured. And of course, everybody's favorite booting team Garfield and Sherry return to face off with angry scofflaws - and each other.

In a new twist this season, "Parking Wars" also rides with the people we love to hate in a very different city. The ticket-writers and booters of Detroit's Municipal Parking Department are called every name in the book. Some try to run from them. Others try to run them over. It's a tough job, but this team of parking enforcement officers has the skills and attitude to get it done.

"Parking Wars" is produced for A&E by Hybrid Films. Daniel Elias and David Houts are the executive producers. Co-executive producers are Po Kutchins and Dan Flaherty. Series Producer is Andrew Dunn. Robert Sharenow, Laura Fleury and Jordana Hochman are the executive producers for A&E.
