ABC's "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" Will Air In Primetime This Saturday Evening With A Rebroadcast Of Its Fifth Annual "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After The Academy Awards," March 13 At 10 PM ET/PT.
The late night show's most watched post-Oscar telecast ever welcomed two-time Academy Award(r) nominee Robert Downey Jr., who brought along the world premiere of the new trailer for "Iron Man 2," plus a musical performance by Grammy Award winner Keith Urban.
Kimmel's show also featured several star-studded video pieces, including "How the Academy Informs Actors They Are Not Nominated," in which the host alerted Kevin James by the actor's bedside that his work in "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" was snubbed for an Oscar nomination; a faux biography segment featuring Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz in the role of a lifetime, "Der Humpink," where Waltz used his many years of theatrical training to hump objects like a lamp and a ukulele; as well as "Handsome Men's Club," showcasing Kimmel and a slew of Hollywood's handsomest, including Matthew McConaughey, Rob Lowe, Sting, Patrick Dempsey, Ethan Hawke, Tony Romo, John Krasinski, Taye Diggs, Ted Danson, Josh Hartnett, Gilles Marini, Lenny Kravitz and Keith Urban, with surprise appearances from Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Jennifer Garner.
The rebroadcast of "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards," originally scheduled to air on Friday, March 12, will now be replaced by the re-airing of the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" episode featuring Tracy Morgan and Brad Paisley (OAD February 17).
