America's Future Football Stars Featured During 12th Annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl Live This Saturday On NBC

NBC Sports Network to Air One-Hour Preview Show Today at 4 p.m. ET

NBC will air the 12th annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the nation's premier high school football all-star game, this Saturday at 1 p.m. ET live from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The U.S. Army All-American game alumni includes numerous NFL stars including Broncos QB Tim Tebow, Lions DT Ndamukong Suh, Texans LB Brian Cushing, Dolphins RB Reggie Bush, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson, Bengals LB Rey Maualuga, Ravens DT Haloti Ngata, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, Jets QB Mark Sanchez in addition to 2011 Heisman Trophy runner-up Andrew Luck. The NBC Sports Network will air a one-hour show today at 4 p.m. ET, previewing Saturday's game.

Paul Burmeister will call the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The former University of Iowa quarterback and host for NFL Network will be joined in the booth by former NFL offensive lineman Glenn Parker and former NFL defensive end Anthony Herron. Also providing commentary will be Mike Farrell, the recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. Lewis Johnson and Marty Snider will report from the sidelines.

The game's most anticipated moments occur when approximately fourteen of the nation's top high school football players reveal their college selections live on-air during the event. One of the nation's top running backs Barry J. Sanders (Oklahoma City, Okla.; Heritage Hall), will make his declaration in front of fans and his father, NFL Hall-of-Famer and Lions great Barry Sanders. Additionally, standouts Shaq Thompson (Sacramento, Calif.; Grant High School) and Tracy Howard (Miramar, Fla.; Miramar High School) are also expected to announce their choices during the game.

NBC will also mic the game's top quarterbacks and will interview players from the sidelines while analyzing their highlights. Additional players to watch during the game, include Dorial Green-Beckham (Springfield, Mo.; Hillcrest High School), D.J. Humphries (Charlotte, N.C.; Mallard Creek High School), Darius Hamilton (Ramsey, N.J.; Don Bosco Preparatory), son of former Giants player Keith Hamilton and Stefon Diggs (Olney, Md.; Our Lady of Good Counsel).
