Animal Planet Announces DOG PARK With Online World Premiere, Wednesday, October 12, at 12 PM (ET/PT)

There are thousands of dog parks throughout the country -- each with its own appeal and unique cast of characters who frequent the park on a regular basis. And New York's Washington Square dog park is No exception! Colorful personalities from diverse, exclusive social circles are sewn together by a common thread to become part of the fabric of those who go "gaga" for dogs.

Premiering October 12th at 12 PM EST, DOG PARK is a six-part web series exclusively on AnimalPlanet.com. The story begins with five decidedly different dog lovers meeting for the first time at the Washington Square dog park with the goal of improving the park.

This civic-minded group embarks on the seemingly simple task of raising the funds to turn innovative ideas into reality. However, as the project progresses, nothing goes as planned, leaving the entire project in jeopardy.
