Award-Winning Crime Novelist MARCUS SAKEY To Host New TRAVEL CHANNEL SERIES - 'HIDDEN CITY' - Premieres Dec. 5
The premiere episode explores Sakey's hometown of Chicago where viewers will meet America's first-and maybe worst-serial killer, H.H. Holmes; walk in the footsteps of legendary gangster, John Dillinger; and dig into the 1968 DNC riots. Upcoming episodes will include Anchorage, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, the Florida Keys, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
The writer the Chicago Tribune named "the new reigning prince of crime fiction" has made a career out of exploring the shadows. Sakey is the author of five bestselling novels: The Blade Itself, At The City's Edge, Good People, The Amateurs, and The Two Deaths of Daniel Hayes. His books have been nominated for more than a dozen awards, chosen among the year's best by Esquire and the New York Times, and translated into dozens of languages. Three are currently in development as films.
