Beginning November 10, Brady Kids Put On Their Game Face For A Special 'BRADY WEEK' On 'TRIVIAL PURSUIT: AMERICA PLAYS'
Christopher Knight, aka Peter Brady, from the hit 70's TV show The Brady Bunch, welcomes his former television family to his new home, the nationally syndicated game show, Trivial Pursuit: America Plays, for a special "Brady Week" beginning November 10 (check your local listings or visit www.tpamericaplays.com). Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Susan Olsen (Cindy), Eve Plumb (Jan) and Barry Williams (Greg) each appear on a different day that week as Captain for the "American Team," representing the viewers at home who submit questions used that day on the show.
The special week culminates with a "Brady Showdown" on Friday, November 14, where all of the siblings vie against each other for a chance to win money for the charity of their choice. Things get heated and the laughs are plenty as the Brady siblings, who are the subject to many of trivia questions themselves, rack their brains to outsmart each other in categories ranging from pop culture and entertainment to history and science.
"It was so much fun to have my Brady siblings on the set of my new show," comments Knight. "It felt like old times with each of us picking on each other...in a loving way, of course! Good ole sibling rivalry!"
Eve Plumb remarked "I had such a great time playing. It's a really fun, fast-paced show."
When asked how he thought his TV big brother was doing as a game show host, Mike Lookinland joked "Chris has a show? Seriously, I think he's doing great, he looks good, he's having fun-maybe he'll get smarter too."
Trivial Pursuit: America Plays puts viewers on the front lines in each and every episode. Based on the very popular Hasbro board game, this half-hour strip is the only show on television that features questions exclusively from viewers, giving them the opportunity to both play-and win-from the comfort of their own living room! America submits all the questions for this innovative format via the show's website, www.tpamericaplays.com. For every question the in-studio constants answer correctly, the winnings go into the "Studio Bank," but if the contestants are stumped, "America's Bank" gets the cash! At the end of the third round, if "America's Bank" has more than the "Studio Bank," then all the viewers who submitted the questions that day take home the spoils.
Trivial Pursuit: America Plays, executive produced by Wheeler-Sussman Productions and distributed by Debmar-Mercury, premiered in national syndication on September 22. Check your local listings or visit www.tpamericaplays.com to find out the tune-in time.
