Bravo And Patti Stanger Commit To Two-Year Development Deal

Aug 3, 2011 - 10:59:20 AM

Bravo and Patti Stanger take their relationship to the next level as the network announced today a two-year development deal with the star and executive producer of "The Millionaire Matchmaker." Stanger will find new talent, create and develop programming and potentially star in and executive produce a new series for the network. The new season of "The Millionaire Matchmaker" will premiere on Monday, August 15 at 9 p.m., ET/PT.

"With Patti's over-the-top personality and savvy business sense, Bravo could not have found a better development partner to execute our vision and who understands our audience," said Eli Lehrer, Vice President of Development for Bravo. "We are confident she will be able to seek out and develop a wide range of new series that will prove to be as successful as 'The Millionaire Matchmaker'."

"My relationship with Bravo is a match made in heaven," stated Stanger.  "The network's reputation for delivering high-quality, buzz-worthy programming made it an easy decision to extend our business together and include this creative deal.  As I say to my clients, 'no sex before monogamy.'  Now that Bravo and I are monogamous, I'm ready to hit the sheets."

An experienced third-generation matchmaker, Stanger founded her company Millionaire's Club in January 2000. With a bestselling book under her belt and an easy-to-follow DVD, "Married in a Year," the relationship expert's business continues to flourish.

Season four of "The Millionaire Matchmaker" earned its highest rated season of the series ever among all key demos, averaging 1.9 million total viewers and 1.3 million adults 18-49.  The season finale (1/11/11) scored its highest rated episode in series history among all key demos, delivering 2.6 million total viewers and 1.7 million adults 18-49.  Source: Nielsen Media Research, Live+7 data.
