Critically Acclaimed And Award-Winning Original Series "LINCOLN HEIGHTS" Returns On ABC Family On Monday, September 14

Jul 20, 2009 - 8:05:01 AM

Television's Only African-American Family Drama Returns for its 4th Season

"Lincoln Heights," the critically acclaimed and NAACP Image Award-winning family drama series, returns for its fourth season with ten new episodes premiering Monday, September 14, 8:00 PM ET/PT on ABC Family. "Lincoln Heights" follows the lives of the Sutton family, led by Eddie, an ambitious police officer who moved his wife and three kids to the inner-city neighborhood where he was raised in hopes of cleaning it up and making a difference.

This season the Suttons find themselves dealing with the aftermath of a major earthquake that rattled the town in last season's finale and destroyed parts of their home. Lincoln Heights has always been a community in need of nurturing, but now with the devastation brought on by the massive quake, their community is struggling to come together. Cassie and Charles try to hold on to their relationship while Charles struggles to deal with his stepfather's death during the earthquake and the ensuing police inquiries. Lizzie tentatively begins a potential romance while finding her way as a lonely freshman in high school. Tay is coming into his own as a burgeoning musician, while struggling with the addition of new family member Nate Ray, Eddie's older son. Jenn is coming to terms with the new family dynamic as she works with Eddie to keep everyone level headed when they come into a large sum of money.

"Lincoln Heights" stars Russell Hornsby as Eddie Sutton, Nicki Micheaux as Jenn Sutton, Erica Hubbard as Cassie Sutton, Mishon Ratliff as Tay Sutton, Rhyon Brown as Lizzie Sutton and Robert Adamson as Charles. Veteran actor Michael Warren returns as Eddie's father, Spencer, and Grammy-nominated R&B singer Trey Songz makes a special appearance as himself this season.

Kathleen McGhee-Anderson serves as Executive Producer. David Erhman, Dawn Urbont and Dayna Lynne North are Co-Executive Producers. Kevin Inch and Anthony Sparks serve as Producers. "Lincoln Heights" is produced by ABC Family/Disney.
