First Week of CONAN Attracts Large Audience of Young Viewers
CONAN's Nov. 8 premiere was sampled by 4,155,000 viewers, and the show's strength proved to be in its appeal to young fans. For the week, CONAN averaged 1,498,000 adults 18-34 and 2,157,000 adults 18-49, topping all other late-night talk shows. CONAN averaged 2,929,000 viewers for the week.
"We're thrilled that Conan and his team put together such a smart, funny show," said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming, for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). "We couldn't be happier with the great response from his fans. CONAN is a big hit among young viewers, with a median age that is more than two decades younger than the show's rivals on broadcast."
For its second week, CONAN's guest list includes LL Cool J, Harrison Ford, Russell Brand, Jesse Eisenberg, Venus Williams, Kid Rock and many more.
CONAN originates from Stage 15 at Warner Bros. Studios and is produced by Conaco LLC. Jeff Ross is the executive producer.
