G4's ATTACK OF THE SHOW Celebrates 1000th Episode With A Live Two-Hour Special On July 9

Special Will Deliver Outrageous New Stunts, Celebrity Guests, Never-Before-Seen Footage From AOTS Archives, All New Comedy Skits and Much More  

Attack of the Show, television's first and only live daily show dedicated to the digital generation, is celebrating a milestone - its 1000th episode. Featuring hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn, Attack of the Show is the ultimate male guide to everything cool and new in the world of technology, web culture, gaming and pop culture. From the hottest viral videos to the latest gadgets, "Attack of the Show" takes its audience to the virtual water cooler with an irreverent look at the day's breaking news. To commemorate this milestone event, G4 will present an Attack of the Show two-hour special on July 9 from 7 - 9PM ET/PT.

"Attack of the Show" first premiered on March 28, 2005 and quickly became the go-to destination for young guys seeking digital news, compelling interviews and irreverent humor found nowhere else on television. From the advent of YouTube, to iPhone mania, to the most talked about viral vides and comic book exclusives, "AOTS" has been there to cover it all. Surpassing the 1,000 episode mark places the show in a category few other cable programs such as Daily Show, Larry King and Best Damn Sports Show Period have crossed.

1000 episodes later, "AOTS" looks back at the show's most memorable, funniest, sexiest, wackiest and bizarre moments and presents never-been-done-before stunts and outrageous skits in a two-hour extravaganza. Hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn will also be joined by show hosts from years past, including Sarah Lane, to take a trip down memory lane and highlight some of the show's most outrageous stunts, skits, videos and more.
 
The two-hour special event will also feature surprise in-studio guests and present the Top-5 "Around the Net" Viral Videos of the past 1000 shows. And adding to the celebration, "AOTS" will be attempting a Guinness World Record® for creating the "Largest Sky-Written Social Networking Message," or "World's Largest Tweet," to be revealed on the show.
