Gary Faulkner, The American Arrested In Pakistan For Trying To Hunt Down Osama Bin Laden, Makes His First Late Night Talk Show Appearance On CBS's "LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN," Monday, June 28
Faulkner, a construction worker from Greeley, Colorado, was arrested by authorities June 13 while attempting to cross into Afghanistan from the mountainous region of northern Pakistan, armed with a pistol, sword, night-vision goggles and a map. Upon his arrest, Faulkner told local officials that he wanted to avenge the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by killing Osama Bin Laden. He was eventually moved to Islamabad and then released without charges Wednesday, June 23, returning to the United States late Wednesday. Upon his return this week, he vowed to reporters that he would try to return to Pakistan to once again hunt down Bin Laden.
Also visiting the LATE SHOW Monday, June 28 are actress Kristen Stewart, star of the highly anticipated film, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which hits theaters June 30; and musical guests Tokyo Police Club.
The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
