It's Back To School As G4's"CAMPUS PD" Returns For A Second Season Of Raw And Gritty Reality
"Campus PD," the hit series that profiles real-life student investigations and arrests at America's colleges and universities, returns for a new season of action and compelling drama with 16 all-new half-hour episodes. For the thousands of college town police officers working to keep students safe, the new school year brings with it a whole new roster of cases to investigate, arrests to make and out-of-control parties to shut down.
In addition, during this season of "Campus PD," G4 cameras follow students to four different Spring Break hot spots for six special episodes to chart this rite of passage that thousands of students take part in. Don't miss the new season of CAMPUS PD premiering September 1st at 8:00pm ET/PT only on G4.
When classes adjourn for the day, the real work begins for the police force as students everywhere hit the streets. Keeping these young adults safe is Job #1 for the men and women sworn to protect them and the citizens of college towns in which they live. Season Two of the hit series visits college towns across the country featuring campuses in: Cincinnati, OH; Las Cruces, NM; Conway, AR; Binghampton, NY; and Highland Heights, KY.
In addition, this season the show will spotlight four beach communities during the annual invasion known as Spring Break. For the first time ever, the Cancun tourist police allow G4's cameras to follow them to the popular hotels, beaches, boardwalks and clubs when thousands of students from north of the border arrive to soak up the local sun, as well as the local Tequila. In addition, we'll visit three U.S. beach communities (St. Petersburg, FL and Corpus Christi and Galveston, TX) as they face the Spring "party that never stops." This season will see cops from around the country handling a wide variety of student cases, including: drinking; sexual misconduct; auto accidents; vandalism; public urination; reckless driving and more.
Each police department boasts a colorful cast of characters with unique backgrounds and big personalities who each bring their distinct styles to serving on the force. From Cincinnati's Officer Michelle Ball, whose short stature belies the mother of two's big personality, to Conway's 27 year-old Officer Travis Caldwell, who feels his youth makes him uniquely suited to dealing with students, these cops take their mission very seriously, yet must constantly face the folly of youth throughout their day. And when it comes to Spring Break, these professionals are on "high alert," from St. Petersburg Beach's 2010 Cop of the Year Robert Weil, to Corpus Christi's former U.S. Marine Officer Jamie Pelfrey, to Lt. Apolo Tiburcio of the Cancun P.D., whose 15 years on the force provides him with the unique diplomacy skills required to keep the peace while also encouraging the fun that the students come to the sunny Mexican beaches for.
