Paul Lee, president, ABC Family, announced an additional ten-episode order of the network's latest summer hit series, "Make It or Break It," a one-hour scripted drama created and written by Holly Sorensen. Sorenson and Paul Stupin serve as executive producers. The series is ABC Family's second-highest rated series of all time behind "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

"I'm thrilled to be announcing the pick-up of our latest hit, 'Make It or Break It.' This show just roared out of the gate with its smart mix of rivalry and romance," said Lee. "Our Millennial audience just loves its great cast and addictive plotlines, and like our viewers, I can't wait to see what happens next."

The one-hour scripted drama, set in the world of competitive gymnastics, follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight. The series currently airs on the network on Monday nights at 9:00-10:00PM ET/PT. The ten additional episodes are tentatively scheduled to return in the first quarter of 2010, bringing the network's total episode order of Season One to 20.

"Make It or Break It" stars Chelsea Hobbs, Ayla Kell, Josie Loren, Cassie Scerbo, Zachary Burr Abel, Peri Gilpin, Candace Cameron Bure and Susan Ward.

Season to date, ABC Family's #2 original series of all time in Total Viewers (2.1 million) and among all core demos, "Make It or Break It" ranks as TV's #1 program in its time period in Female Teens (4.6 rating), cable's #1 program in Females 12-34 (2.3 rating) and the #1 scripted series on all cable in Women 18-34 (1.5 rating).
