Snoop Dogg To Join Katy Perry For Live Performance Of "CALIFORNIA GURLS"
MTV announced it will give viewers an exclusive sneak peek of the final title in the "Harry Potter" film franchise during the "2010 MTV Movie Awards." The audience will be treated to a never-before-seen clip from Warner Bros. Pictures' highly anticipated "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" is in theaters November 19, 2010, with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" hitting screens on July 15, 2011. The two-part motion picture event marks the last installment in the film franchise that, since its debut, has become a worldwide phenomenon, with a fan following that spans generations.
Adding to the already star-studded ceremony, the network also announced that Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Scarlett Johansson, Betty White, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, T.I., Jessica Alba, Michael Cera, Eva Mendes and Kieran Culkin are confirmed to present popcorn statues during the live ceremony. In addition, legendary rapper and world renowned recording artist Snoop Dogg will join Katy Perry for a live performance of her hit summer anthem "California Gurls," the first single from her forthcoming album Teenage Dream (available August 24). Hosted by Aziz Ansari, the "2010 MTV Movie Awards" will be broadcast LIVE from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 6 at 9p.m./8p.m.C.
Also confirmed to present are previously announced movie megastars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, the cast of "The Grown Ups" including Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aubrey Plaza, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Russell Brand. Christina Aguilera will also return to the "Movie Awards" stage for a highly anticipated performance from her explosive new album Bionic (available June 8). Viewers will also see an exclusive scene from the upcoming summer blockbuster "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" (in theaters June 30) during the show while a member of "The Twilight Saga" wolf pack hits the red carpet. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" cast member Chaske Spencer will serve as the official MTV International "2010 MTV Movie Awards" guest red carpet correspondent as part of a special edition of "MTV At The Movies," which will bring audiences outside the United States closer to the biggest names in the industry and the most talked about moments as part of MTV's global coverage of the "2010 MTV Movie Awards."

From May 12 - June 5, viewers can visit MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote to make winners of their favorite nominated films, movie moments and actors. Continuing its tradition for being one of the most shocking and atypical awards show on television, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards will feature three all-new and outrageous categories that include "GLOBAL SUPERSTAR," "BEST SCARED-AS-S**T PERFORMANCE" and "BIGGEST BADASS STAR." This one, special category will remain an ongoing battle as voting for favorite film of the year will remain open throughout the LIVE show.
