EXCLUSIVE: Robert Pattinson, undeniably one of today's most recognizable, popular and most sought-after stars, takes his first "bite" out of ABC's Emmy(r) Award-winning talk show, "The View," live, TUESDAY, MARCH 2 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on the ABC Television Network. In his first-ever appearance on the show, Pattinson will be joined by Emilie de Ravin (ABC's "Lost"), his co-star in the upcoming film "Remember Me." Pattinson (a.k.a. "RPattz") was first introduced to movie audiences as Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." But it's his starring role as sultry, brooding, sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" saga that catapulted him to instant stardom.
EXCLUSIVE: Mitt Romney (author, No Apology: The Case for American Greatness), a potential frontrunner for the 2012 Republican nomination for President, makes his first-ever appearance, live, TUESDAY, MARCH 2. Mr. Romney, an American businessman, is the 70th Governor of Massachusetts.
"'THE VIEW': ROAD TO THE OSCARS": Awards season is upon us yet again, and the guy on everyone's mind is named Oscar. In celebration of the upcoming 82nd Annual Academy Awards, live, Sunday, March 7 on ABC, the hosts of ABC's "The View" roll out the red carpet and continue to welcome a spectacular roster of Oscar winners and past nominees. Abagail Breslin and Don Cheadle are the featured guests, live, THURSDAY, MARCH 4 and FRIDAY, MARCH 5, respectively. A two-part special edition of "Fashion Friday" celebrates "The History of Oscar Fashions" with a look back at some of the most memorable -- or perhaps, forgettable -- Oscar hits and misses, hosted by celebrity stylist Robert Verdi. Michael Phillips and Tony Scott (hosts, "At the Movies") unveil their 2010 Oscar predictions.
"The View" features Daytime Emmy(r) Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. "The View" is broadcast in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound, and is now available to watch online daily at 4:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT on the ABC Digital Full Episode Player at ABC.com. "The View" is produced by ABC Daytime and Ms. Walters' Barwall Productions, with Ms. Walters serving as executive producer along with Bill Geddie, who also serves as executive producer for "The Barbara Walters Specials." "The View" is directed by Mark Gentile. Musical performances produced and directed by Mark Gentile.
