Oxygen Hit Series "TORI & DEAN: HOME SWEET HOLLYWOOD" Returns April 5th
Oxygen's favorite family, the Spelling-McDermotts are back and moving into their new night on Monday, April 5 at 10pm ET/PT for season five of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." The Monday night return of the series marks Oxygen's all new night of original programming.
The popular and record-breaking reality series "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" will offer an even closer look into Tori and Dean's family life and at their own relationship, which will include a first-ever Spelling-McDermott cross-country family road trip. When the season kicks off, fans will be treated to a fun-filled, bumpy ride while Tori and Dean take turns at the wheel, all on the mission to visit nanny Patsy in Georgia after her life-saving surgery. Along the way, Tori, Dean and crew take adventurous detours to some unique All-American pit stops, including Yemo, CA, Albuquerque, NM and Amarillo, TX. Tori also takes this opportunity to return to her roots and visit her dad Aaron Spelling's hometown of Dallas, TX, sending her emotions on a ride of their own.
Last season, "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" became Oxygen's most watched complete season among A18-49, W18-49 and total viewers. In addition, the series finale marked the first time Oxygen delivered over one million viewers in the key A18-49 demo, making it the network's most watched telecast ever (at the time).
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott created the series and executive produce the series along with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato of World of Wonder Productions. Richard Courtney and Robert Sizemore serve as co-executive producers.
Tori Spelling is a versatile actress whose career spans theater, television and film. Spelling recently reprised her role as Donna Martin in the CW spinoff series 90210 and guest starred on the CW's hit series "Smallville" where she portrayed a gossip columnist. She also starred in the comedy series, "So NoTORIous" on VH1, where served as an executive producer on the scripted comedy, loosely based on her life as well.
She also starred in the Los Angeles stage production of the highly acclaimed "Maybe Baby, It's You." Spelling's additional feature-film credits include: the independent feature "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover;" "Kiss the Bride", "Scary Movie 2," the sequel to the 2000 blockbuster; a cameo in "Scream 2;" and a starring role in the Miramax comedy-drama "The House of Yes." Spelling is also an accomplished designer with a distinct sense of style. Her clothing line "Little Maven," due out in department stores and specialty boutiques this fall, features fun, young and versatile designs for infants and toddlers. Her latest jewelry designs from "The Tori Spelling Collection" are available exclusively on HSN. In April 2009, Spelling published her second memoir Mommywood as a follow-up to her New York Times bestselling memoir, sTORI Telling. Her third book uncharted terriTORI will be released this Spring, followed by the release of her first children's book Presenting ... Tallulah. Spelling has two children with her husband Dean McDermott, Liam Aaron, 2 years and Stella Doreen, 1 year.
