Behind-The-Scenes "Whodunit" Featuring Additional "All My Children" Stars
SOAPnet is airing the encore presentation of "'The View' Special Edition - All My Children: Moving Pine Valley" on SATURDAY, JANUARY 9 at 6PM and SUNDAY, JANUARY 10 AT 11PM ET/PT (Original airdate 12/11/09 on ABC). The Sunday airing precedes the weekly "All My Children" marathon, that includes the special 40th anniversary episodes (12AM-5AM ET/PT).
As the popular daytime drama relocates to Los Angeles to continue its tradition of dazzling audiences with 40 years of groundbreaking storytelling, "The View" pays tribute with a one-hour celebration, featuring the show's creator and television pioneer, Agnes Nixon, plus stars Susan Lucci, Debbi Morgan, Rebecca Budig, Cameron Mathison, Michael E. Knight, Vincent Irizarry and a very special surprise guest. As the cast prepares for their big move out West, something has gone terribly awry behind the scenes at "All My Children." "View Tube" vignettes will feature additional stars from "All My Children," as Sherri Shepherd and Executive Producer Bill Geddie recount the steps and try to help solve this (tongue in cheek) mystery. It's an "All My Children" whodunit you won't want to miss!
"All My Children" will celebrate its 40th anniversary on January 5, 2010. Created by Agnes Nixon, the show airs Monday-Friday (1:00-2:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
The View features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. "The View" is produced by ABC Daytime and Ms. Walters' Barwall Productions, with Ms. Walters serving as executive producer along with Bill Geddie, who also serves as executive producer for "The Barbara Walters Specials."
