To celebrate the 15th season of "South Park," COMEDY CENTRAL and South Park Digital Studios are honoring the fans that have turned the award-winning series into a cultural phenomenon with a year-long celebration, marking 2011 as "The Year of the Fan."

Premiering on Sunday, October 9 at 10:00 p.m. is Arthur Bradford's documentary, "6 Days to Air: The Making of 'South Park.'" It follows the series creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, as they craft a single episode of their iconic hit show.

Parker and Stone took on the roll of visiting professors when they surprised a New York University Storytelling class in mtvU's "Stand-In" series. The event will air on mtvU and mtvU.com on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. ET/ 9:00 a.m. PT.

Recently voted "The Greatest Animated TV Series" in a poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly, COMEDY CENTRAL's "South Park" launched on August 13, 1997 and premiered its 15th season on April 27. The series airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. and repeats later that night at midnight (all times ET/PT).

Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino, of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning "South Park." Frank C. Agnone II is the supervising producer. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers. "South Park's" Web site is www.southparkstudios.com.

"The Book of Mormon," the winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical from "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has broken the house record of Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre for the 17th time. The show earned $1,310,225.50 for the week ending Sunday, October 2, 2011, in the 1,068-seat O'Neill, one of Broadway's smaller theatres, and has consistently been in the top five grossing Broadway shows since opening on Broadway in the spring. "The Book of Mormon" features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
