The Critically-Acclaimed Reality Series SHARK TANK Returns to ABC on Friday, January 8

Upon Entering The "Shark Tank," Daring Entrepreneurs Hope They Have What
It Takes To Get Five Self-Made Millionaires To Invest In Their Business Ideas

The Critically-Acclaimed Reality Series Returns to ABC on Friday, January 8

The air in the Shark Tank gets emotionally charged when a heated debate between the Sharks and a husband and wife team from Glen Allen, Virginia are asked to clarify the actual value of their successful childcare business.  The Sharks are impressed with a delicious salad dressing mix created by a chef from Folsom, California, but their delight turns to concern when they learn she suffered a big financial loss when asked to remove her offensive packaging from shelves.

A biker from Philadelphia gets tongue-tied while pitching his 3-dimensional helmet; a family man from Franklin, Tennessee learns the importance of being prepared before venturing into the Shark Tank; and a gentleman from New Jersey hopes the Sharks will bite on his golf ball cleaner. In addition, there's an update on the passionate stay-at-home mom (Lori Lite from Marietta, Georgia) who got funds from Barbara Corcoran to invest in her line of "stress free" children's books, on the Season Premiere of "Shark Tank," Friday, January 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The Sharks of "Shark Tank" are real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, "infomercial" industry pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion icon Daymond John and financial expert Kevin O'Leary.

Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill and Phil Gurin are the executive producers of "Shark Tank," based on the Japanese "Dragons' Den" format created by Nippon Television Network Corporation. The pilot is directed by Craig Spirko. The series is from Sony Pictures Television.
