Given Chloe's strange behavior as of late, Meredith is not happy when Chloe is escorted home by the police after trying to stop a late-night robbery. A concerned Meredith searches Chloe's laptop, looking for insight into her daughter's life. However, Meredith is unprepared by what she finds, knowing the information will change her life forever.
Meanwhile, although Chloe has a deeper connection with Alek than she cares to admit, she also can't deny her feelings for Brian. But when Chloe unintentionally hurts both guys, neither one of them want anything to do with her. When the late-night robber puts the King women in danger, Chloe must do everything to protect her mother and she reaches out to someone she has come to rely on. Will Alek put his personal feelings aside to help Chloe before it's too late, or is this one battle Chloe will have to fight on her own?
