SCOTT PELLEY: So, let me ask you, what's your plan to get us out of here?

GENERAL JOHN ALLEN: Well, the plan is to-is to win. The plan is to be successful.  And so, while some folks might hear that we're departing in 2014 as a result of the Lisbon Conference and the process of transition, we're actually going to be here for a long time.

PELLEY: You're talking about U.S. forces being here after 2014?

GEN. ALLEN: Yes, there will be.

PELLEY: What you're saying is that the United States isn't leaving Afghanistan in the foreseeable future?

GEN. ALLEN: Well, that's an important message.  Afghanistan is not going to be abandoned.
