Washington Nationals Pitcher Stephen Strasburg To Present The Top Ten List On CBS's "LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN," Thursday, June 10
In his Major League Baseball debut Tuesday, Strasburg, 21 years old and last year's #1 overall draft pick, struck out 14 batters, allowed only four hits and two earned runs and didn't walk a batter in the Nationals' 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Strasburg's 14 strikeouts are the most in a major league debut since J.R. Richard struck out 15 for the Houston Astros in 1971.
Also on the LATE SHOW Thursday are musician Harry Connick Jr.; actor Jaden Smith, star of the film "The Karate Kid"; and a performance by musical guest Peter Wolf. The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
