Washington Nationals pitching phenomenon Stephen Strasburg presents the Top Ten List on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Thursday, June 10 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
In his Major League Baseball debut Tuesday, Strasburg, 21 years old and last year's #1 overall draft pick, struck out 14 batters, allowed only four hits and two earned runs and didn't walk a batter in the Nationals' 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Strasburg's 14 strikeouts are the most in a major league debut since J.R. Richard struck out 15 for the Houston Astros in 1971.
Also on the LATE SHOW Thursday are musician Harry Connick Jr.; actor Jaden Smith, star of the film "The Karate Kid"; and a performance by musical guest Peter Wolf.
