truTV's Hardcore Pawn, an eye-opening look at one of the world's largest pawn shops, launched its fourth season last night with two new episodes scoring an outstanding 2.1 million viewers. The night's first new episode of Hardcore Pawn chalked up 1,906,000 viewers at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), an audience that grew to 2,236,000 viewers for the 9:30 p.m. episode.
Hardcore Pawn performed particularly well among young adults, averaging 816,000 adults 18-49 for the first episode, growing to more than 1 million adults 18-49 for the second episode. On the heels of last night's success, truTV announced that it has ordered a 13-episode fifth season of Hardcore Pawn, slated to begin later this year.
"We're very excited to celebrate another strong performance by Hardcore Pawn, which continues to resonate in a big way with our targeted viewers," said Marc Juris, executive vice president and general manager of truTV.
